Our Services

A Connected System of Support

Support That Works Together

Myrtle House is not a collection of separate projects or one-off interventions. It is a thoughtfully connected system of support, designed to meet people where they are and walk alongside them as their needs change.

Each part of what we offer works together. From early help and practical guidance to longer-term support and stability, every service plays a role in a bigger picture — one that is focused on lasting change, not temporary fixes.

Life rarely fits into neat categories, and neither do the challenges people face. That’s why our approach is joined-up and responsive, ensuring individuals and families don’t fall through gaps or have to start over every time they seek help.

By building continuity and trust, Myrtle House helps people move forward with confidence, reducing long-term dependency and creating stronger foundations for the future.

Our Services

Our work is delivered under seven inter-connected areas, which together reflect our commitment to supporting people and families at every stage of life and creating lasting, positive change.

Early Years & Families

We provide childcare, early education, and family support.

Our nursery operates within Welsh Government programmes, including Flying Start and funded early education, supporting children’s development and helping families access work, training, and support.

Myrtle House Food Project

We provide emergency food as a last resort, alongside wider support to improve food security.

This includes:

Food support is always linked to wider services, including financial advice and wellbeing support.

Community Life Hub

The Community Life Hub is the central access point for support.

Here you can:

  • Talk to someone

  • Access support and advice

  • Get help with referrals

  • Connect to services in one place

Money Support Project

We help people improve their financial situation through:

  • Budgeting and debt advice

  • Income maximisation

  • Support with essential costs

This helps reduce financial pressure and build long-term stability.

  • Training and workshops

  • Progression into work or education

One Mission, Many Ways to Support Our Community

While our services are diverse, they are united by one shared purpose: to serve, support, and strengthen our community.

Together, our services enable us to respond to immediate challenges, prevent future hardship, and create opportunities for people to thrive.
