Myrtle House Nursery

A nurturing space where little lives grow big futures

At Myrtle House Nursery, we provide a safe, caring, and inspiring environment for children aged 0–5. Located on two acres of secure grounds, our nursery is more than just childcare - it’s a place where children are encouraged to play, learn, and thrive through love, laughter, and discovery. With dedicated baby, toddler, and preschool rooms, each stage of your child’s development is supported by caring, qualified staff who treat every child as the unique individual they are.

Learning Through Play

Curiosity-led learning shaped around your child

Our nursery follows the Welsh Government’s Curriculum for Wales, designed around five key pathways: Belonging, Communication, Exploration, Physical Development, and Wellbeing. Activities are child-centred and designed to support curiosity, confidence, and creativity. Whether it’s sensory play for little ones, mark-making and role-play for toddlers, or forest school-style adventures in our mud kitchens and gardens—children are encouraged to explore, imagine, and express themselves every day.

We also tailor learning for under 2s based on the Birth to Three Matters framework. Our flexible full- and half-day care options make it easy to fit around busy family life, and our Holiday Club provides a lively, enriching space for older children to enjoy their time away from school.

A Nursery Rooted in Community

Strong relationships, shared values, lasting support

Myrtle House Nursery is part of the wider community hub at Myrtle House, and our values reflect that: we are here to encourage, empower, and support families in real and practical ways. Our team builds strong partnerships with parents, offers supportive transition guidance, and hosts regular events to involve families in nursery life.

Whether you're attending a Parent & Toddler session, booking into our Holiday Club, or trusting us with your child’s early years education, you’re joining a caring, values-led community that’s here to help your child flourish.
