Payroll Giving

Easy, fuss-free, and tax-effective way to support our community!

What is Payroll Giving?

Also known as Give as You EarnPayroll Giving is a simple, tax-efficient way to support the charities you care about - like Myrtle House - directly through your wages.

Your donation is taken from your gross pay, after National Insurance but before Income Tax. That means it actually costs you less to give more.

For example:

  • £10 monthly donation only costs you £8 if you're a basic rate taxpayer

  • Or just £6 if you're a higher rate taxpayer

It’s a smart and generous way to make a real difference.

How Does Payroll Giving Work?

If you’d like to support a cause like Myrtle House through Payroll Giving, your first step is to check with your HR or Payroll team to see if your workplace is already set up for it.

If they’re not yet enrolled, don’t worry - we’re more than happy to help. You can reach out to us at fundraising@myrtlehouse.org.uk. We’d even be glad to speak with them directly to walk them through the process.
