    KATE MCSHANE - Community Projects Lead

    Kate provides leadership across Myrtle House’s community projects, working closely with trustees, partners, and funders to ensure the organisation’s work is effective, sustainable, and rooted in local need. She oversees day-to-day delivery, partnership development, funding relationships, and strategic planning, while supporting staff and volunteers and guiding the continued growth of Myrtle House’s community and social enterprise work. With a long-standing commitment to community development, Kate focuses on building compassionate services that respond to immediate need while creating lasting, positive change.

    CAROL WILLIAMS - Community Projects Co-ordinator

    Carol plays a central role in coordinating the practical delivery of our community support projects. She supports volunteers, manages donations, and ensures services are well organised and prepared. Her calm, organised approach and attention to detail help ensure that everyone who accesses Myrtle House receives support that is compassionate, respectful, and well coordinated.

    LIZ ISAAC - CMA – Connect Manager

    Liz manages the CMA – Connect service, providing practical support with money, debt, and benefits as part of Myrtle House’s wider community support. She helps people understand their options and improve their financial stability through clear, practical guidance.

    JOHN WILLIAMS - Warehouse Co-ordinator

    John coordinates the food and essential items used across our community support work. The role oversees foodbank stock, parcel preparation, and the safe storage and organisation of supplies, ensuring everything is in place to support people effectively and with dignity. This role is central to the smooth running of our food support and distribution processes.

    MIRIAM DAVIES - Connect and Create Co-ordinator

    Miriam leads our creative and wellbeing activities, creating welcoming spaces where people can connect, learn, and express themselves. The role supports confidence-building, wellbeing, and community connection through inclusive, accessible creative sessions.

    STEVE CAMPION - Head Chef

    The Head Chef leads food preparation and kitchen operations across our community meals and food-related projects. They play a key role in ensuring meals are nutritious, welcoming, and prepared with care, while also supporting volunteers and participants to develop skills and confidence in the kitchen.

    CLAIRE RICHARDS - Nursery Manager

    The Nursery Manager provides overall leadership for Myrtle House Nursery, ensuring high-quality provision in line with the Welsh Government Curriculum for Wales. The nursery is registered for children aged 0–12, including holiday club provision for school-aged children. The Manager oversees standards of care, learning, and development, and supports the team to deliver play-based, child-centred learning in a safe and nurturing environment where children and families feel well supported.

    Bobbie Isaac - Nursery Assistant Manager

    The Assistant Nursery Manager supports the day-to-day leadership of Myrtle House Nursery, helping maintain high-quality provision in line with the Welsh Government Curriculum for Wales. They work closely with the Nursery Manager to support staff practice, curriculum delivery, and safeguarding standards, and help ensure a consistent, play-based and nurturing environment where children and families feel welcomed and supported.

    MEGAN PRYOR - Nursery Deputy Manager

    The Deputy Nursery Manager supports the leadership and day-to-day running of Myrtle House Nursery, working alongside the Nursery Manager to deliver high-quality early years education and care in line with the Welsh Government Curriculum for Wales. They help lead staff practice, support curriculum delivery, and ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for all children and families.

    TRACEY JONES - Nursery Pre-School Lead

    The Pre-School Lead supports the delivery of high-quality early years education at Myrtle House Nursery, in line with the Welsh Government Curriculum for Wales. They lead play-based learning, support staff practice, and help create a nurturing environment where children can grow, explore, and develop with confidence.

    Caitlin Thomas - Nursery Under 2's Co-Lead

    The Under 2’s Co-Lead supports the baby and toddler room, delivering nurturing, responsive care and developmentally appropriate play in line with Early Childhood Play, Learning and Care (ECPLC) in Wales, working toward the Curriculum for Wales. They support children’s early development and wellbeing, and work closely with families and colleagues to maintain a safe, enabling environment.

    Sophie Lewis - Nursery Under 2’s Co-Lead

    The Under 2’s Co-Lead supports the baby and toddler room, delivering nurturing, responsive care and developmentally appropriate play in line with Early Childhood Play, Learning and Care (ECPLC) in Wales, working toward the Curriculum for Wales. They support children’s early development and wellbeing, and work closely with families and colleagues to maintain a safe, enabling environment.

    Rebecca Elkin - ALNCo

    The ALNCo supports inclusive practice across the nursery, helping ensure that children with additional learning needs are identified early and supported effectively in line with the Curriculum for Wales. They work with staff and families to plan appropriate support, adapt learning environments, and promote each child’s participation, wellbeing, and development through play-based learning.

    The Parent & Toddlers Lead is a friendly and welcoming presence at the heart of Myrtle House Parent & Toddlers. They are passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where children learn through play and families feel comfortable, included, and connected. With a strong community focus and a thoughtful approach to themed sessions, they support children to thrive and help build friendships and peer support among families.
