The Food Project

Everyone deserves a seat at the table.

At Myrtle House, we believe food is more than fuel - it's a source of dignity, comfort, and connection. In a world where far too many people are forced to choose between heating and eating, we’re committed to being a place where no one goes hungry, and no one is left behind.

Whether you’re experiencing a sudden crisis, managing on a tight income, or simply going through a difficult patch, our doors are open. We understand that asking for help can feel hard—but you’ll always be met with warmth, respect, and a listening ear.

From emergency food parcels and affordable meals to cooking workshops and community gatherings, we offer practical, compassionate food support that meets real needs in real time. And we do it without judgement, because we believe everyone deserves access to good, nourishing food, no matter their circumstances.

Our food support is here to help you not only get through today, but build a stronger tomorrow. Because food is about more than survival, it’s about sharing, belonging, and hope.
