HOW YOU CAN HELP 〰️
Donate Food
Donating food is one of the most direct ways to support the work of Llanelli Foodbank. We accept non-perishable items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and toiletries, as well as fresh, nutritious food where possible. Your donations help us create balanced food parcels for families and individuals who are struggling to afford their next meal. Every item donated brings us closer to ensuring no one in Llanelli goes hungry.
Volunteer
Give your time. Change a life. Find your place.
Volunteering at Myrtle House is more than lending a hand—it’s about being part of something meaningful. Whether you’re making tea, serving meals, running a workshop, sorting food donations, or simply offering a listening ear, every role plays a part in transforming lives and building community.
We’re a people-first, purpose-driven place where everyone has something valuable to give. No special skills needed—just a kind heart, willing hands, and a desire to help others.
Why volunteer with us?
Make a real difference in the lives of local people
Build new friendships and feel part of a caring community
Learn new skills and grow in confidence
Be part of a team that believes in kindness, dignity, and hope
Whether you can give an hour a week or a few days a month, there’s a place for you here.

Fundraise
Raise hope. Rally others. Make a real difference.
At Myrtle House, we believe in the power of people coming together to make change happen. When you fundraise for us, you're doing more than raising money - you’re helping provide hot meals, warm spaces, vital advice, and dignity to people in crisis across our community.
Whether you’re baking, running, streaming, hosting a quiz night, or taking on a personal challenge, every pound raised helps us continue our work - without relying on government funding.
What your support means:
£10 covers a warm meal for a single person
£40 provides 3-day food support for a single person
£90 provides 7-day food support for a single person
Every gift—big or small—brings hope
We’ll cheer you on every step of the way!
