Donate Food & Essentials

We rely on your goodwill and support.

The primary need we address is hunger. Many individuals and families rely on Llanelli Foodbank and Community Life Hubs to meet their basic needs, particularly during tough times. Your food donations ensure we can create nutritious food parcels that support individuals who would otherwise struggle to put meals on the table.

In addition to food, families in need often struggle to afford basic household and hygiene products. Items like cleaning supplies, nappies, feminine hygiene products, and toiletries are always in demand and can make a huge difference to a household in crisis.

We regularly update our “shopping list” to let you know the items we need most:

Bank the Food App

Ever thought to yourself "What food should I donate to the Foodbank?"

There's an app for that!

Meet BanktheFood! This free app will ping your smartphone a real-time list of our most wanted items when you're at a shop/location that is partnered with us (Tesco Trostre or Lidl).

----------------------------------

Please download the app from your device's app store and follow the instructions to get started.

Once you have followed Llanelli Foodbank, the app will send you a helpful ‘ping’ with a reminder of our needs when you are shopping in your local supermarket.

You can then choose exactly what you would like to donate and leave your donation in your food bank’s collection box at the end of your shopping trip.

We will then be alerted via the app of your (anonymous) donation making it easier for us to track and locate items that we really need.
