Strengthening Community in Llanelli

Myrtle House is a community hub supporting individuals and families across Llanelli through practical help, connection, and opportunities to build a more stable future.

Through our Community Life Hubs, food support, money guidance, community meals, workshops, and family services, we bring together practical support and community connection in one welcoming place.

Our aim is not only to respond in moments of hardship, but to help people move toward greater stability, confidence, and hope.

Each year thousands of local residents engage with Myrtle House services, community activities, and support programmes.

IMPACT

Our Approach

Rooted in community

Our work grows from listening to local people and responding to the needs we see around us. By working alongside local people, partners, and volunteers, we build support that is shaped by the community and for the community.

Led by compassion

Everyone who walks through our doors is welcomed with dignity, respect, and care. We believe that practical support should always be offered with kindness and without judgement.

Built on connection

We bring people and services together in one place, helping individuals access the support, relationships, and opportunities that strengthen stability and wellbeing.

How to Access Support

Getting support at Myrtle House is simple and welcoming. You can drop into a Community Life Hub, speak with a team member, or get in touch to talk through your situation. Most services don’t require a referral, so you can access help when you need it without delay.

If needed, we’ll guide you through a short, confidential self-referral and connect you with the right support, from food and financial help to wellbeing services. Where more specialist support is required, we can also link you with trusted local partners.
