Community Conversations
Where every voice matters—and every story is welcome
Looking for a friendly place to sit, chat, and connect? Community Conversations is our weekly coffee morning with a purpose—a relaxed, welcoming space where people come together to share stories, ideas, and thoughts about life in our community.
Whether you’ve got something on your mind or just want a cuppa and good company, you’re invited to pull up a chair and be part of the conversation.
What to Expect
There’s no agenda, no pressure, and no need to have all the answers. Just come as you are.
Enjoy free hot drinks and toast in a cosy setting
Meet friendly faces and neighbours from across Llanelli
Talk about what matters to you—from local concerns to everyday life
Listen, laugh, learn, and leave feeling uplifted
Staff and volunteers are always on hand for a warm welcome
It’s a space to speak up, be heard, or simply enjoy being part of something.
Why It Matters
Community Conversations grew out of a simple truth: when people talk, things change. Sharing our stories helps us:
Feel less alone
Understand each other better
Identify what needs improving in our town
Shape the future of the support we offer at Myrtle House together
Your voice is part of the solution. And sometimes, the simple act of gathering over a cuppa is where the best ideas (and friendships) begin.
“It’s not about having the right words—it’s about being in the right space. Somewhere warm, respectful, and real.”
– Regular attendee
Just Drop In
There’s no need to book—just come along on a Tuesday morning and make yourself at home.

Your Community. Your Voice. Your Space.
Community begins with conversation. So come along, speak up, and be part of the bigger picture. Together, we can shape a stronger, kinder Llanelli.
